Service and maintenance
Planned servicing, fault finding and repairs for air conditioning, heating and ventilation systems.
Building services need regular checks and maintenance to keep working reliably for years. We service the systems we install and systems fitted by other companies.
Why servicing matters
- Efficiency. Dirty filters and coils reduce output and increase electricity costs.
- Reliability. A fault in one small part can stop the whole system. Regular checks find problems before a breakdown.
- Warranty. Manufacturer warranty terms may require commissioning and service records.
- Legal requirements. Commercial systems containing refrigerant must be leak checked regularly.
Our services include
- Planned maintenance. Cleaning, checks and adjustment on an agreed schedule.
- Diagnostics. Finding the cause of a fault or loss of performance.
- Repairs. Fault fixing and part replacement.
- Systems fitted by others. Inspection, condition report and recommendations.
- Maintenance agreement. Scope, frequency and cost fixed in advance.
Systems we service
Air conditioning
Without regular servicing an air conditioner loses efficiency, and faults are found late, when repairs cost more.
- Cleaning filters, grille and indoor coil
- Cleaning the outdoor coil
- Checking condensate drainage
- Refrigerant leak and pressure checks
- Electrical and controls diagnostics
- Testing in cooling and heating modes
Heat pumps and heating
A heat pump should be checked once a year. We service heat pumps and wet systems with radiators and underfloor heating.
- Outdoor unit and clear airflow around it
- Heating system pressure
- Controls, weather curve and settings
- Radiators, underfloor heating and cylinder
- Advice on economical operation
Ventilation and heat recovery
Ventilation filters are usually changed once a year or on the manufacturer's schedule. Clogged filters reduce airflow.
- Filter replacement
- Cleaning grilles and extract fans
- Checking fans and the heat exchanger
- Airflow and drainage checks
- Electrical and controls diagnostics
Equipment we service
- Split, multi-split, VRF, ducted and cassette air conditioning
- Air-to-water and air-to-air heat pumps
- Radiators, underfloor heating, cylinders and heating controls
- Supply and extract units with heat recovery
- Extract fans and kitchen extract

Frequently asked questions
What services do you offer?
Planned maintenance, diagnostics and repair of air conditioning, heat pumps, heating and ventilation systems.
Why service a system that is under warranty?
A warranty does not replace cleaning and checks. Repairs after a breakdown cost more, and the manufacturer may require service records.
How often is servicing needed?
A heat pump should be checked once a year. Ventilation filters are usually changed once a year or on the manufacturer's schedule. Commercial systems containing refrigerant are checked on the schedule set by law.
Do you service systems fitted by other installers?
Yes. On the first visit we inspect the system and give recommendations.
Who can work on refrigerant?
Only technicians with an F-gas qualification.
What should I tell you when I book?
The system type, the model if you know it, the symptoms and the site address.
